Dinner Date

Another normal day in Shibinai, Koby and Yasuko went to school this morning, I think that Yasuko is feeling much better although she said her throat was a little sore this morning. Evan ate cereal while I had my usual toast and coffee, but this morning I used our coffee grinder and ground some beans to make a fresh pot of coffee and the difference is like night and day, I really know now why I hate instant and coffee in the store that is already ground.. (It's stale)

I finished the Shibinai Blog today and have gotten caught up to the current date finally, I am putting a lot of great pictures on here, but you can see even more at my Flickr account, I highly recommend that you become a member at Flickr and request friends with me so you can see all of the pictures that I have designated as friends and family only, otherwise you will just be able to see the scenery pics of Hokkaido.

We are scheduled to eat dinner at Ueo-sans house tonight, he left this morning, probably to go work at his restaurant more, his big opening is only about 10 more days, and then I have a feeling that I will not be seeing him much.

Yasuko will be home at lunchtime, and Evan is playing the Playstation 2. Yasuko came home and does not have to return until 4:30 for a short meeting, after that we went to the store to buy a few items to take to Ueo-sans house, when we returned they were waiting for us. The dinner consisted of rare tuna steaks marinated in a soy based sauce, a Korean style Kimchee stew, Scallops, and a vegetable dish with fresh seaweed and tofu. Everything was delicious as Ueo-sans dinner always are.

Yasuko and the kids came home at 9:30 while I stayed until 11:30 and talked with Ueo-san more.

Temp: High - 63
Low - 40

Hi Charlie
That dinner at Ueo-san's house, sounds really yummy. Just the type of Korean hot pot, that makes me want to eat more. Maybe some day, he will invite me to join his dinner party. That would be a dream come true.
