Inclement Weather

We woke up to a overcast and very windy day, it looks like it will be an inside the house day today. Yasuko and Koby left for school at the regular time, Evan ate cereal for breakfast while I had a cup of coffee. There is a typhoon in Okinawa now that is heading North East, which is in our direction, but will be passing under us, nonetheless we are experiencing heavy winds as a result of it. I have had to keep an eye out the window on my mini greenhouse, because the wind keeps blowing the plastic around and uncovering my tomatoes. After the 2nd time I went outside to fix it, I lined the plastic all around the edges with giant stones, and I dare the wind to blow those off.

Yasuko came home at 12:30 pm and does not have to back. We ate lunch and just lounged around the house due to the inclement weather. Koby came home at 2:30 pm and some of his friends came over and played video games. Later we went to a local grocery store to get a few items we needed in the mean time, and had to hurry back since Yasuko has a meeting at the community center tonight about the school's sports festival.

The kids and I stayed home and ate noodles and tomato sauce, Yasuko was gone to the meeting from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. I got the kids ready for bed, before Yasuko came home. There was not much to write about today since most of the day was spent inside.
