Bank Woes

Yasuko and Koby left for school this morning while Evan and I ate breakfast and watched kids shows, our normal routine. Evan has caught a cold, and Yasuko also has not been feeling well, but they both seem to be feeling better today. It must have been one of those fast flu bugs. So far I have not felt bad, and Koby doesn't seem to be affected either. Ueo-san has invited us to his house for dinner tomorrow night, I guess he feels that it is a good way to repay me for the help I have given him at his restaurant, but I was happy to help him.

Yasuko came home at lunchtime and will not have to return for the day, we made a lot of calls to Wells Fargo to try and figure out how to initiate a wire transfer of our money to Japan, and were told unfortunately they cannot do it without me setting it up before we left. WHAT!!! I just want to go on record and say that Wells Fargo is the crappiest bank I have ever had the dis-pleasure of banking with, after visiting the bank numerous time before we left inquiring about how we would make the transfer, and were told that everything was going to be no problem, Now This..

It looks like I am just going to request a check for the amount we want and then deposit it over here, it will take longer that way, but our bank here said that they would accept the check, so I guess that is the way we will have to do it.

Koby came home at 3:00 pm and did his homework, afterwards him and Evan went outside to play with all of the kids, I just stayed inside today, for some reason I feel real cold today and cannot get warm, but I will fix that problem later with a steaming hot bath. Tomorrow is the dinner date with the Ueo family.
