New School

Koby's first day of real school, he studied Japanese, and learned how to ride a unicycle. He had a great lunch of noodles in broth with vegetables, baked rice balls, broccoli and milk. At the end of the day the kids have to clean the school.

Mr Abe a policeman in Higashikawa stopped by today to see if we needed to go shopping. He speaks English very well after growing up near an American missionary and his family. He speaks English better than anyone I have met here so far.

Yasuko, Evan, Myself and Mr Abe went to the Japanese equivalent of a dollar store and bought all of the supplies that Koby will need for school.

It was a busy day, and we finished up with a dinner of salmon, greens, and fried rice with vegetables. Yasuko started Yoga class at 6:30pm and got home at 8:30pm
