Day Off

All of the kids are out of school today since they had to attend yesterday. We had kids knocking on the door ready to play with Koby and Evan at 8:45am, so we all got up and ate breakfast.

Around lunchtime Fujita San's grandpa picked us up to take us into town, I have to pick up my foreigners ID card today, which all non Japanese residents must carry with them. It basically is like a National ID card (Green Card).

We did some banking and mailed some bills off. We also returned some library books and bought a few groceries. We ordered the inkan which is an official rubber stamp that Japanese use like Americans use their signature, I will need this to buy a car. It will be mailed to us in about a week. Not to much longer and we will finally have a car.

Internet is still not connected, we still need to buy a new terminal adapter, hopefully we can get it soon. Fujita san mom came over and talked with Yasuko for a bit, they are the same age so they have a lot in common. Koby's friend ate dinner with us and took a bath at our house, the kids thought it was fun, but it is very normal for community bathing here.

The weather is getting warmer and warmer, and the snow is almost all gone, you still need a light jacket during the day and a heavy jacket at night.
