Doctor Visit

Woke up to Yasuko saying Masani-san wanted to talk to me. So I drug my tired butt out of bed at 7:45 am. Masani-san brought me a harness that fits the weed eaters for the next time I wanted to cut weeds. I was told that from now until Sept, I could do that job as much as I wanted to for $10 an hour, just write down my times. I think I will rest today, my body is aching from yesterday, but I will get used to it. This is a good opportunity until I can find a teaching job.

We have a lot of errands to run today, one being taking Evan to the doctor to look at a tick bite he got, I think it is ok but Yasuko wants to be sure, it only costs $3 anyways with the National Health Care plan that we are on. (In your face America - 7,000 for a 8 hour emergency room stay). We also have to get some grocery's and pay some bills.

Evan's doctor visit has to be the fastest doctors visit I have ever experienced in my whole life, it took all of 15 minutes to be called and seen, and another 10 minutes to get a prescription. Dr. said that the tick bite looks fine, and prescribed some steroid ointment to put on the bite. And the total cost $ 5.80 cents for the visit and the prescription, if ever there was a proponent for national health care sign me up!

After the doctor's visit we stopped in Higashikagura to get a few groceries and then came home.
